THE police are probing a spate of thefts in and around Whitehill.

In the early hours of August 17, thieves stole a wheelbarrow and cement mixer from the front garden of a house on Oak Tree Road. A man wearing a black hoodie emblazoned with ‘84’ was spotted soon after pushing a cement mixer. The wheelbarrow has since been recovered.

Power tools including a Makita drill and Haitachi drill were stolen from a Ford Transit van secured on the driveway of a house on Knowles Close, Bordon, in the early hours of August 22.

Sometime after midnight on the same night, a Toyota Yaris parked on the driveway of a house in Knowles Close, Bordon, was broken into and a sat nav unit was stolen.
