HAMPSHIRE Constabulary's specialist roads policing unit is urging motorcyclists and car drivers to be extra vigilant on the roads in the hot weather following the sixth fatality in one week involving a motorbike.

The warning follows a week in which two of the fatalities occurred in the Alton area – the first at Oakhanger on the evening of Thursday, July 4, and the second just over an hour later, in Alton.
