Cllr Barbara Tansey was elected as the new mayor of Alton at Alton Town Council’s annual meeting tonight.
She replaced Cllr Annette Eyre, who spent 27 months in the role. Cllr Chris Botten replaced Cllr Nick O’Brien as deputy mayor.
