PUPILS at Bordon's Weyford infant and junior schools wore period costumes to celebrate the 100th birthday of their schools last Friday.

They enjoyed a special assembly, a birthday cake and country dancing. A school log book, with entries dating back to 1913, helped children to learn more about the history of their school.

Headteacher Liz George said the day was a success.
