MAY Queen Amy Trantham is pictured being kept dry in the rain by one of her attendants at Oakhanger village's traditional spring fair.

The fair, held on Sunday, preserves the historic tradition of Maypole dancing, and other attractions included a fairground organ, a display of vintage cars, and a beer tent organised by The Red Lion.
