The meeting will take place on Thursday, March 19, at the Forest Community Centre in Pinehill Road from 6pm to 7.30pm.
The evening will include updates on community awards, regeneration projects and local policing, along with an opportunity for residents to ask questions.
Town Mayor Cllr Catherine Clark highlighted the 2026 Whitehill & Bordon Community Awards, which will be presented as part of the event.
She said: “We have some great people, charities and organisations in Whitehill & Bordon and it’s a pleasure to see recognition of their achievements.”
Award categories include outstanding young person (age 4-11), outstanding young person (age 12-18), outstanding adult (18+), group or organisation achievement (non-charity) and local charity achievement.
Nominations must be submitted via the Whitehill Town Council website by Sunday, March 15, 2025.
Nominees must live, work or attend school within the parish of Whitehill, covering both Whitehill and Bordon. Cllr Clark urged nominators to inform nominees in advance of the ceremony.
Leader of Whitehill Town Council Cllr Andy Tree said Chief Inspector Matt Moss, district commander for East Hampshire & Havant, was due to provide an update on policing and crime in the area.
He will also host a question-and-answer session to allow residents to raise concerns about how crime is being tackled and prevented locally.
The Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company will outline progress on housing and regeneration projects on former Ministry of Defence land, delivered in partnership with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
An update will also be given on the Sainsbury’s development and on the future of Garrison Nursery, which faces uncertainty after the regeneration company ruled that extending its lease was not feasible, leaving it without a home for 2026/27.
All residents are welcome to attend. The formal agenda will be published by the town council.
