Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have 12 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And six of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A3, from 9pm November 23 to 6am November 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Weston, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.

• A27, from 9pm September 8 to 6am November 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 westbound, Langstone to Harts Farm Way, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

• A27, from 8pm March 17 2025 to 6am January 12 2026, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27/A27/A3 both directions, junction 9 to junction 11, carriageway, slip road and lane closures for Hampshire County Council major works.

And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A3, from 8pm November 24 to 6am December 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Liss to Berelands, carriageway closure for horticulture works.

• A3, from 9pm November 24 to 6am December 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions QECP, slip road and lane closure for drainage work.

• A3(M), from 8pm November 26 to 6am November 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3M both directions, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane closure for electrical works.

• A3, from 9pm November 28 to 5am November 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Liss, entry slip road and lane closure for white lining works.

• A3, from 8pm December 1 to 6am December 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Hazel Grove to Liphook, Lane closure for maintenance work.

• A27, from 9pm December 2 to 6am December 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3M and A27 Harts Farm Way, Teardrop closure for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm December 3 to 6am December 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Longmoor, slip road and lane closure for maintenance works.

• A3, from 9pm December 4 to 6am December 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Griggs Green, slip road and lane closure for maintenance work.

• A27, from 8pm December 8 to 6am December 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands to A3M, junction 2, carriageway closure for horticulture works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
