Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have 10 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 8pm March 4 to 6am March 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Berelands, carriageway closure between the exit and entry slips for structures work.

A3, from 9pm October 23 2023 to 6am March 28 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A3, from 8pm March 11 to 6am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

A3, from 8pm March 18 to 6am March 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Hazel Grove, carriageway closures for tunnel maintenance.

A3, from 8pm March 19 to 6am March 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Weston, slip road and lane closures for carriageway sweeping.

A3, from 8pm March 20 to 6am March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions, junction 1 to QE2 Country Park, Lane closure for maintenance works.

A3, from 8pm March 21 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3M northbound, junction 1, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work.

A3, from 8pm March 21 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Sheet to Liss, Lane closures for drainage work.

A3, from 8pm March 21 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Longmoor, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs.

A3, from 8pm March 22 to 6am March 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Griggs Green to Longmoor, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
