Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A3, from 8pm May 9 to 6am May 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Longmoor to Liss, Lane closure for maintenance work.
• A3, from 8pm May 12 to 6am May 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Knock Hundred Lane, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.
• A3, from 8pm May 14 to 6am May 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Liphook, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.
• A3, from 8pm May 15 to 6am May 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Longmoor to Flexcombe, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• A3, from 9pm May 15 to 6am May 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for electrical work.
• A3, from 9pm May 16 to 6am May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Flexcombe to Ham Barn, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
