POLICE are appealing for information after a spate of robberies in Bordon in which elderly and disabled people have been targeted by thieves.
The first incident took place just before 4pm last Wednesday at the cashpoint machine outside Lloyds TSB bank in Camp Road.
The victim, a 79-year-old man, was using the cashpoint, which is next to the old fire station, when he was pushed from behind. Two robbers then withdrew £250, the maximum that can be taken out in one go, from his bank account before fleeing the scene.
