REGISTRATION is now open for St Michael’s Hospice Moonlight Walk so grab your trainers and be part of a glorious night out walking under the stars, while raising money for North Hampshire’s only adult Hospice.

The aim is to beat last year’s total when more than 240 people, walking with their families, friends or colleagues raised £22,000.

Men, women and children of all fitness levels will walk the 8.5-mile course, starting and ending at Porchester Square in Basingstoke’s Festival Place shopping centre, and passing through areas such as Kempshott and Hatch Warren. Groups, clubs and companies are encouraged to get their members and colleagues together to enter a team – it’s a great way to foster team spirit!

Registration opens at 8.30pm on Saturday September 10, at Festival Place and the warm-up starts at 9.45pm.

Pre-registering cost £17 for adults and £10 for children. Registration on the night costs £20 per adult and £12 per child. Family tickets for two adults and two children are cost £45.

The entry fee includes refreshments and a special Moonlight Walk medal for those who make it back to Festival Place on the night. Places can be secured at stmichaelshospice.org.uk
