A RIGHT royal time was had by one and all in and around Haslemere in the lead up to the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s big day at Windsor.

ore than 200 pupils all dressed in red, white and blue enjoyed an afternoon of fun, followed by a special tea made and served by the school’s PTA.

Pupils participated in sack, egg and spoon and hurdles races organised by play leaders and the school house captains, and the afternoon ended with a huge al fresco banquet.

Headteacher Sharon Pritchard, said: “It has been wonderful to see the children so excited about the Royal Wedding and to feel like we are all sharing in such a happy occasion.

“Friday was a real celebration and my thanks to everyone who has helped to make the afternoon such an overwhelming success.”
