School cashes in on festive fayre

HUNDREDS of people attended Greatham Primary School's Christmas fayre on Saturday, which raised more than £2,500.

The event was opened by children's author Ivan Brett and saw about 40 stalls attract more than 600 visitors.

Attractions included refreshments and craft stalls and the money raised will go into the school pot.
