BORDON Junior School headmaster Chris James aims to make his school "simply the best", and it is towards achieving that goal that he directs his considerable energy.
He was appointed as the junior school's headteacher last Easter - his first post as a headteacher.
With the position, he has taken on a juggling act of working out the best curriculum for pupils so they get a mix of academic learning along with confidence-building activities that teach them how to work with others.
In addition to running a busy school, Mr James, a graduate of Manchester University, has to manage the school budget at a time when the Government is making more cuts in education funding.
