POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious accident on the A325 last week between Bordon and Sleaford.

Six vehicles were involved in the collision, which happened at about 3pm on July 15, causing traffic chaos while the road was cleared.

A 61-year-old man from Headley Down was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 26-year-old man was taken by ambulance to St George’s Hospital, in Tooting, London, with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

The other drivers sustained minor injuries and didn’t require hospital treatment.

This week a police spokesman said that there has been no significant change in the condition of the injured individuals.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, specifically anyone who saw a white Ford Kuga.

Anyone with information should call 101 to speak with PC Sarjeant from the East Hampshire Roads Policing Unit, quoting Operation Distinct.
