IT was good news this week for all those who campaigned to stop the axing of the Bordon-to-Liphook bus link in May, because East Hampshire district and Hampshire county councils have announced they are "on the cusp of revealing a solution".

The councils, which have been looking at the provision of a similar service, are promising an announcement "soon".
