Wayne Rooney is going to talk about his football career and life at Portsmouth Guildhall – one of only two venues he is visiting in the UK – on December 12 at 7pm.
His first footballing appearance in Portsmouth came in December 2003 when as an 18-year-old substitute he scored the winner for Everton in a 2-1 victory at Fratton Park, before quickly reaching greater heights with Manchester United and England.
After being introduced by Terry Baker, Wayne will share anecdotes and insights into playing under Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes and many others with interviewer Noel Brodie.
He will also give his thoughts on the current Manchester United and England teams, and some questions from the audience will be answered.
For tickets, priced £59.20, visit www.portsmouthguildhall.org.uk
