STAFF at Bordon's Martin's newsagent shop were trying not to scare away customers last week as they got into the Hallowe'en spirit while fundraising for charity.
The retailer joined forces with Cardiac Risk in the Young in a partnership to increase awareness across the country.
Manager Sharon Coombes said the Hallowe'en celebrations last Friday were "absolutely fantastic", with shop staff having "a great time".
It was nice, she added, to be able to work on the For-est Road shop floor without anyone recognising her.
The staff's spooky efforts generated £264 for the cause.
