BORDON and Oakhanger Sports Club (BOSC) is set to remain closed for around two weeks for “essential maintenance”.

A notification on the BOSC’s website stated it closed on Monday and will be re-opening on Tuesday, January 21.

Commenting on the closure, Martyna Cawdron, event manager for the Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust and BOSC, said: “We had a great Christmas and new year at BOSC. We are closed from January 6 to January 21 to allow staff to take well-earned holidays, and carry out repairs and staff training, including the preparation and testing of a new menu.

“We will advertise the launch of the new menu soon.

“We look forward to welcoming our customers back to BOSC later in the month.”

Councillor Andy Tree, leader of Whitehill Town Council said: “The town council has not had any notification regarding this, so I guess they will be resolving any issues – and I look forward to seeing the new menu!”
