WITH the future of Bordon's eco-town status uncertain, and the planned move by the Army in four years on hold until a new business partner can be found to build a training headquarters in Wales, Tony Thorn, chairman of the Whitehill and Bordon Community Association, is pleased that the new Forest Centre Integration Project is on target.
February, he says, will be the start date of the project that will create a landscaped central open space and will help to regenerate the area and give residents a stronger sense of pride in their community.
