A WIND turbine, a hotel or a care home were suggested at last Wednesday's annual meeting of Whitehill Town Council for the site of the old Whitehill Woking Men's Club.

What was left of the derelict building, which was destroyed by fire nine years ago in a suspected arson attack, was finally demolished last week.
