HASLEMERE Food Bank has had a surprise, generous and anonymous donation of fine grain rice – 100 kilograms of it in five 20 kilogram bags.

The donation is too large for the food bank to handle.

The food bank would like to pass this gift on to another voluntary organisation which can use it to help people in need of food support.

They would also consider passing it on to a commercial concern in return for a donation to the work of the food bank.
