Swish Fibre has apologised for the disruption caused in The Square in Liphook in early January, and has vowed to work with Hampshire County Council and consult Bramshott and Liphook Parish Council before any further fibre broadband works.

It comes after contractors installing fibre broadband cables on behalf of Swish Fibre erected temporary traffic lights covering the whole of The Square, including all three roundabouts, in the new year.

This led to traffic chaos with traffic trailing back to the A3 at peak times. Swish Fibre contractor MMB Networks will now provide a weekly update on scheduled works.
