FOLLOWING recent concerns over public access to Army land, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has urged dog owners to be responsible when walking on the Longmoor Ranges.
The MoD's comments follow Whitehill town cou-ncillor Tony Gray's words, at a meeting of the council on October 20, that he had seen "a tiny A4 sign" warning residents that if they did not clean up after their dogs public access would be lost forever. Mr Gray said that if this was the case, the MoD should display the warning more prominently.
