POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault.

The attack happened between 8.20pm and 8.45pm on Monday, January 13, at Hollybrook Park, Bordon.

The victim, a 19-year-old man, was walking home and stopped briefly next to the play area. He was approached by three men. One of the group assaulted him by head butting and punching him.

The men then walked off in the direction of the Forest Centre.

The suspect is described as white, aged 18 to 19, 6ft tall, of big build, with short black hair. He was wearing a blue Superdry jacket and black tracksuit trousers.

Pc John Hood, based at Alton police station, said: "This appears to have been an unprovoked attack in which the victim suffered minor injuries to his forehead."
