A TEENAGE girl from Bordon is lucky to be alive after being hit by a car outside a village school near Petersfield.
The 15-year-old girl, who has not been named, was flown to Southampton General Hospital last Thursday after the accident outside Liss Junior School.
The Bohunt pupil suffered head injuries and was airlifted, as a precaution, after colliding with a black Volkswagen Golf at 1.38pm.
Police have confirmed the girl was dropped off by a minibus, taking pupils from Bohunt to Liss, on a verge opposite the school. The teenager was hit while attempting to cross the road.
