STAFF at Mill Chase Community College used education to raise money for the Haiti earthquake appeal on Monday, with a lesson about the Caribbean island.
Students were given a lesson on the geography and history of Haiti, and learned about the poverty its inhabitants have endured for many years and how this was worsened by the devastation caused by this month's earthquake.
Students drew an outline map of Haiti on the floor of the school gym and filled it in the outline with loose change - raising more than £300 in the process.
