POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to cars parked near a Hampshire beauty spot were broken into.

The incidents took place between 7pm and 7.30pm on Thursday, May 3, when items were stolen from two cars parked at the Old Winchester Hill car park on Hayden Lane, off the A32 at Warnford, south of Alton. The items included a mobile phone, a sat nav and a wallet containing banks cards, one of which was used later in an attempt to withdraw cash.

The man is described as white, aged 16 to 21, around 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build with dark hair. Anyone with information should call the police on 101, quoting 44180163818, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
