Forty archers entered the event on March 26, which comprised various archery rounds from 100 to 40 yards according to gender and age group.
The Whitehill Archers’ Maia Daborn, 16, set a new UK record for the St George round - the adult male distances of 100, 80 and 60 yards, with three dozen arrows at each distance.
The judges were Gill Millward and Martyn Gore and, following a barbecue and raffle, trophies and medals were presented by Dawn Gore, the club’s lady paramount.
