A severe weather warning has been issued for Surrey and Hampshire, with heavy rain forecast for later this week.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, valid from 6am on Thursday to 11.50pm on Friday.

Forecasters say as much as 70mm of rain could fall in places, with hail, thunder, lightning and surface flooding also possible.
