TRAFFIC lights stood in darkness on Tuesday morning (October 29) at one of Bordon’s major crossroads.

Motorists reported the multi-way traffic lights at the junctions of Templars Way and Oakhanger Road were not working during the morning rush hour.

Councillor Rob Humby, executive member for economy, transport and environment at Hampshire County Council, confirmed there was a “power failure” in the area which “affected these traffic signals”.

The lights were reportedly back up and running on Tuesday afternoon.
