THE return of the White Dove Collectors Transport Show in Kingsley, in aid of Farnham’s Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, is set to take place next month.

More than 300 classic cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles will be on show at Kingsley Sports Ground, in Sickles Lane, near Bordon, from 11am on August 6.

There will also be live music, an auto jumble, trade stands, refreshments, a bar, a barbecue and a tombola.

Fundraising events like this are crucial for Phyllis Tuckwell. The money raised enables the charity to pay for vehicles and equipment which helps it to care for patients and families across west Surrey and north-east Hampshire living with terminal illnesses.

Last year the show raised more than £12,000, which has been used to pay for a Peugeot Partner, which is being modified to accommodate wheelchairs.
