WHITEHILL Town Council’s pavilion at Mill Chase recreation ground has been vandalised.

Police believe the damage was done in the early hours of Monday, July 2, or that weekend.

Deputy town clerk David Melsome said vandals had smashed two polycarbonate drain covers beyond repair, and had broken a paving slab, which was then possibly used to cause more damage to drains and pipes.
