ENJOY Haslemere’s Lowder Mill garden this weekend, before it hits the big screen in August as one of the settings featured in Disney’s Christopher Robin film, starring Ewan McGregor as Winnie the Pooh’s friend.

The listed house and former mill, both dating back over 300 years, are set in three acres of garden, of which almost one acre is the former mill pond, served by natural streams, and the smaller ponds, streams and waterfalls that flow through it.

Lowder Mill, in Bell Vale Lane, has opened annually under the National Garden Scheme for 14 consecutaive years. It is open on Saturday, June 2, from 11am-5.30pm and on Sunday, June 3, from 10.30am-5.30pm.
