VOTERS will go to the polls on Thursday to play their part in electing 10 members of the European Parliament. Around 400 million Europeans will cast their vote on Thursday to shape the political make-up of the European Parliament. And in East Hampshire residents are being urged to exercise their right to be part of the decision making process. Speaking in her capacity as returning officer for East Hampshire, EHDC chief executive Sandy Hopkins said: "It is our hard-won democratic right to vote in elections and we must make sure we take every opportunity to have our say, whether that is at local, general or European level.
