WORK will begin on Hollywater Road in Whitehill next month.
“These are much-needed repairs and will involve the filling and repair of the cracks and joints throughout the road,” said Hampshire county councillor Adam Carew.
“I ask that residents and parents on the school run to Weyford and Mill Chase use an alternative route while the works are in progress.
“The works are programmed to start on November 5 and are expected to last for up to seven days, during which time the road will be closed to vehicular traffic between 9am and 4pm. The road will be fully open during the evenings and weekend.
“Information signs advising road users of the works will be erected before the start of works and a letter will be delivered to residents this week.”
