THIRSTY people using Mill Chase Recreation Ground will soon be able to grab a drink there.

Whitehill Town Council’s executive agreed last Thursday to install a water bottle filling machine.

Council leader Cllr Andy Tree said: “With Mill Chase School relocating as Oakmoor and the new town centre being in the new development, we are very mindful that as a grassroots council we want to support this part of Bordon.

“There is currently nowhere close to get a drink. We hope this will be very welcome to all those who use the rec, including parents and children after school and Wey Valley FC.”
