POLICE are appealing for information after a miniature Shetland pony, in a field in Whitehill, had its forelock cut off.
The incident occurred between last Thursday afternoon and last Friday, when 15-year-old pony Rambo had the hair - which, at a around a foot long, came "past his nose" - cut.
The owner of the pony, which is tethered in a field in Petersfield Road, said the hair was also taken away - implying it was an act of theft.
