Winchester Science Centre is showing classic Disney films in its planetarium and outdoor movies under the stars every Sunday during the summer holidays.

Starlight Cinema is giving children a chance to watch them under a blanket of stars in the planetarium from July 23 to August 20.

The schedule is July 23 – Monsters, Inc.; July 30 – Shrek; August 6 – Aladdin; August 13 – Toy Story; August 20 – The Lion King. Doors open at 5.15pm and the movies start at 5.45pm.

Then on August 27 the action heads outside under the real stars of the South Downs National Park.

Families are invited to end the summer in style with a picnic and free popcorn on the South Downs Lawn by singing along to Encanto (doors 5.15pm, movie 5.45pm) or heading off on a miniature adventure with Honey I Shrunk The Kids (doors 8pm, movie 8.45pm).

The science centre exhibits will be available for everyone to enjoy during both screenings.
