POLICE are today still appealing for witnesses after a woman was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash on the A31 near Farnham on Wednesday morning.
Two people suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash, which involved a silver Toyota Auris and a red Alfa Romeo and took place at around 10am on the eastbound carriageway of the A31 between the Coxbridge roundabout and Runwick Lane.
A woman was taken by air ambulance to St George's Hospital in Tooting with injuries which are believed to be life-threatening, while a man was taken to Frimley Park Hospital by road with serious injuries.
As well as the air ambulance, fire and ambulance crews were also in attendance and the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
