POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car and a motorcycle crashed at Empshott, near Selborne, on September 26.

A Volkswagen Polo car and motorcycle travelling in the same direction collided as they overtook other vehicles on the B3006 at around 7am.

The 31–year-old man from Waterlooville, who was riding a yellow Suzuki motorcycle, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital. The 25-year-old driver of the Polo, also from Waterlooville, was unhurt.
