A WOMAN sitting in her car at traffic lights in Bordon has been subjected to a verbal assault.
Hampshire Police have issued an e-fit image of a man officers would like to speak to, following the daylight incident.
Between 5.35pm and 5.45pm last Monday, the 22-year-old woman was sitting in car at traffic lights, in Woolmer Way when a man she did not know grabbed her arm through the window and "ranted at her".
Three men came to the victim's aid and the assailant ran off.
The suspect is described as black, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall and of scrawny build.
He was wearing a grey hoody with drawstrings and carrying a backpack.
The victim said he spoke with a London accent and had "perfect straight white teeth".
The man's motives remain unclear, according to Detective Constable Tony Flannagan.
"The victim was not injured during this incident but was upset and shocked by the man's behaviour," said Det Con Flannagan.
"I am keen to speak to anyone who thinks they may know the man. I'd particularly like to trace the three men who came to the victim's assistance.
"The victim thought they may have been soldiers."
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Flannagan on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
