BORDON Junior School pupils took part in a summer reading challenge at the town's library on Monday, which gave them the chance of being some of the first young people to join the Space Hop.

Pupils were welcomed at the library by the staff, and school staff were also on hand to guide the pupils and families to the variety of special activities laid on by the library team.

Headteacher Michele Frost said she had been "most pleased with the high turn out of families who also came to the library".
