YOUNGSTERS helped light up Hallowe’en at the Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Club (BOSC).
Children, adults and carers first made their way to the club to create decorative lanterns on Monday (October 28), using a range of materials.
They were then able to show off their creations at a light party on the spookiest day of the year – Hallowe’en.
As well as showcasing their creations during an evening lantern parade around the BOSC grounds, guests took part in a variety of family games and activities at the party on Thursday (October 31).
And it wasn’t just those who had attended the lantern making class a few days prior who went along, as those without lanterns were able to bring a torch and join in the fun.
A spokesperson for the BOSC said: “The BOSC team was delighted to host the light party with Beacon Church on Hallowe’en, to support the message that there is always light to be found in the darkness.
“The event was a great alternative to popular ‘trick or treat’ activities, and one that BOSC hopes to recreate in the coming years.”
