CHRIS Snook won the England Athletics 10,000 metres walk last Sunday, recording a personal best 46mins 18.98secs to finish nearly one and a half minutes ahead of Tom Partington from Manx Harriers.
This was the Aldershot Farnham & District walker’s third consecutive national title. He had won the under-17 5000 metres event the previous two seasons.
The Under-23 Championships were also held at Bedford over the weekend.
Three runners from AFD claimed silver medals in this age group: Ben Bradley (5000 metres), Amy Griffiths (1500 metres) and Philippa Bowden (steeplechase).
