PUTTENHAM, the cup holders, and Grayswood reached the Stevens Cup final after winning their rain-delayed semi-finals on Tuesday.

Puttenham totalled 133-6 and then dismissed Blackheath for just 69. Tilford totalled what looked a healthy 157-8, with Matt Cook hitting 72, but Grayswood replied with 160-2 after an opening stand of 89 between Dave Handley (62) and Tom Barnardo (64 not out) and won with an over to spare.

The Pope Cup semi-finals were played on the same night and Tongham and Elstead, both Division Two sides, won through to the final.

Tongham beat Division One side Headley and Elstead defeated fellow Division Two team Thursley.

Scores: Tongham 115-7 (S Meyer 37 not out, M Andrews 23, A Farrier 22; G Worman 3-39); Headley 69 (C Hawtin 21; N Cook 4-16, L Gadd 3-15).

Elstead 160-9 (A Azar 35, D Tye 32, Z Zeeshan 31; A Zeeshan 3-36); Thursley 132 (F Warraich 50, A Labib 22; A Azar 3-7, H Butt 3-24).

The Stevens and Pope Cup finals will be played at Headley on Sunday, July 16. The Pope Cup final will start at 12.30pm, with the Stevens Cup match to follow.

Spectators are welcome to enjoy the beer tent, barbecue and refreshments.
