ALTON Ladies, the Hampshire Women’s Cricket League Division Two leaders, made it three wins out of three by beating Parley Sports by 60 runs.

Gemma Porter (5-25) capped a fine all-round performance by claiming a remarkable four wickets in four balls before a run-out off the next delivery ended the game.

The margin suggests an comfortable win, but Parley looked good while chasing Alton’s 205-2. The visitors made Alton work hard as they made it to 145-5 with 12 overs remaining, but then collapsed to Porter’s accurate off-spin.
