ELSTEAD Riding Club were strongly represented at the British Riding clubs NAF Five-Star National Championships, held at Lincoln.

Several Elstead teams qualified and gained excellent placings in the many sections.

On the Sunday, Elstead juniors came fourth in the team-of-four dressage and then ended the weekend in style by winning the 70cm showjumping championship.

The day before, Elstead’s senior teams had the following fine results: 2nd, 90cm showjumping; 3rd, 80cm showjumping; 3rd, pairs dressage; 4th & 6th, team-of-four dressage; 5th, riding test; 8th, style jumping; 10th, preliminary dressage.

Elstead members also achieved high individual placings.
