ALDERSHOT Town’s home match against Hartlepool United on Saturday has been postponed due to the heavy snowfall this week and has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 6, kick-off 7.45pm at the EBB Stadium.

Although the pitch was still playable on Friday morning, the decision to postpone the fixture was taken with supporter safety in mind, the condition of the roads, likely travel problems and additional snowfall forecast.

All advance tickets remain valid for Tuesday night’s fixture.

Aldershot have paid tribute to the volunteers and groundstaff who worked tirelessly this week to get the ground playable.
