Badshot Lea hit six of the best as they thrashed Brockenhurst 6-3 in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup.

The Baggies took the lead in the 28th minute though Fareed Hakeem-Habeeb, and doubled their advantage four minutes later through Alfie Edmonds.

Edmonds scored his second to make it 3-0 to the Baggies, before the visitors pulled one back through Ashton Palmer’s 41st-minute penalty.

Stan Jones restored Badshot Lea’s three-goal advantage in the 45th minute, before Ben Jordan scored from the spot to cap a dream first half for the Baggies.

Gian Aga-In pulled a goal back for Brockenhurst at the start of the second half, before Toby Colmer made it 5-3.

Jordan scored his second in stoppage time to seal a memorable win for the Baggies.
